yet_to_come

God is clearing the land and rebuilding his kingdom with you.

Wear work gloves.

Your best days are yet to come.

When your memories exceed your dreams, you are headed for the grave. – Bart

I will always show you where to go.
I’ll give you a full life in the emptiest of places—
    firm muscles, strong bones.
You’ll be like a well-watered garden,
a gurgling spring that never runs dry.
You’ll use the old rubble of past lives to build anew,
rebuild the foundations from out of your past.
You’ll be known as those who can fix anything,
restore old ruins, rebuild and renovate,
    make the community livable again.

                                   ~Isaiah 58

I love you, Morgan. I’m still unpacking your talk on Sonship from last weekend’s bootcamp – and will for some time. The more I pay attention to the things God is bringing to the surface in my life, the more I realize one of my core wounds – trust.

“I will always show you where to go…”

I know that is true. I can trace Jesus’ life doing just that in me for years. And yet, with frightening regularity, I lean towards arranging for life on my own terms. Convinced it’s all up to me. Perhaps less than I used to, but that old man dies hard sometimes.

Paul, I love your honest and courage. Well done! Yes, that trust things runs deepŠ and the Father can restore it deeper still. Just read “All is Grace” the life story of Brennan ManningŠ wow some of the most deeply healing nuggets of wisdom woven in there on trust from his life story. I’d encourage you to read it and sit at his feet for a while and ask the Father to use Brenan’s story to deepen the healing of trust there, expose the agreements and bring more and more of His Kingdom. -Morgan

Shawn, glad to hear it. Bart is living out that story daily and I’ve been a witness of God in itŠ let’s follow that trail blazed! -Morgan

    Morgan,

The scripture reference?? Timely and beautiful! I really needed this for my heart today. So poetic to hear God say,”You’ll use the rubble of past lives to build anew.” I have to admit I’m still picking up the pieces but they’re becoming more scarce. I’m excited to start building again.

Hey Chris. Yep that is Isaiah 58:10-12 ish in The Message. “more scarce.” That’s it. Making that transition from measuring in days to measuring in decades has shifted deep pieces in me. -Morgan
